Back in 2013, I was given an ’80s Yamaha Virago to customize. At the time, I knew absolutely nothing about motorcycles, yet I still had the courage to cut the frame, modify the fenders, gas tank, seat, and many other parts. We turned it into a bobber-style bike. From that moment on, I fell in love with motorcycles and the custom culture behind them.

It wasn’t until 2017 that I bought my first motorcycle and, as you can imagine, I completely customized it. I named it “La Mula.”

A mule is a hybrid born from crossing a mare and a donkey, known for being strong, resilient, and dependable.

That’s where the concept of Mula comes from: the representation of a custom motorcycle built using parts and accessories from other bikes or rescued materials, transformed into a unique machine that reflects its rider’s personality.

As the years went by and my passion kept growing, the idea of creating a motorcycle lifestyle brand was born: Mula Moto. Inspired by the concept of the mule, the brand represents passionate riders — free spirits who reject labels and social expectations, riders who simply enjoy their motorcycles and the freedom that comes with them.

So, in 2020, I committed myself to this journey: creating designs and illustrations that could live on T-shirts, stickers, bandanas, posters, and other products that represent this lifestyle.

En el año 2013 me confiaron una motocicleta Yamaha Virago de los años 80 para modificarla. En ese momento no sabía nada de motos y, aun así, me atreví a cortar el chasis, modificar guardafangos, tanque de gasolina, asiento y muchas otras piezas. La transformamos al estilo bobber. Desde entonces me enamoré de las motocicletas y de la cultura de la modificación.

No fue hasta el 2017 cuando adquirí mi primera moto y, como pueden imaginar, la modifiqué por completo. La llamé “La Mula”.

Una mula o mulo es un híbrido que resulta del cruce entre una yegua y un burro o asno, y generalmente es más fuerte y resistente que sus progenitores.

Así nace el concepto de Mula: la representación de una motocicleta modificada, construida con piezas y accesorios de otras motos o materiales rescatados, convirtiéndose en una máquina única, mejorada y adaptada a nuestra personalidad.

Con el paso de los años y una pasión que no dejaba de crecer, surgió la idea de crear una marca de ropa y accesorios para motociclistas: Mula Moto. Inspirada en el concepto de la mula, la marca representa al motero apasionado; ese de espíritu libre, sin tabúes ni encasillamientos sociales, que disfruta de su moto y de la libertad que esta le brinda.

Así que, en el 2020, me embarqué en este hermoso viaje: crear diseños e ilustraciones para llevarlos a camisetas, stickers, pañuelos, posters y otros productos que reflejan este estilo de vida.
